My Story
Allow me to introduce myself:
I am a contemporary Renaissance woman, living on my family’s regenerative farm nestled in the forests of northern Wisconsin. As a lifelong learner of progressive and alternative paths—Montessori, Dewey, Steiner, Unschooling, Pitkin, a BA in Creative Writing and Performing Arts from Vermont College of UI&U, and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Godard College —my passion for exploring, digging deeper, and reconnecting fractured pieces together creates a beautiful web of meaning making.
Coming from a line of healers, teachers, and farmers of Germanic, Scandinavian, and Celtic descent, I intersect and overlap these worlds in my writing and storytelling. Infused with a love of nature and dedication to stewarding the earth, the story weaving wends tales that cross worlds and explores the complexities of the human experience, deepened by historical understanding and the long memories of myth.
As a contemporary bard/scald—performative storyteller, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and balladeer—I seek to blend the verbal and visual as well through fiber artistry and design. This journey truly is a tapestry of experiences and expressiveness, deepend through a mindful practice of compassion and observation.
Welcome to this enchanted world. Step inside. The stories await.
